Check out this plan to get great abs. Most people get it all wrong and are wasting their time and effort.

There is a lot of poor quality information regarding fitness and exercise and a large part of that is about how to develop six pack abs. The reason for this is because a six pack is so desirable for so many people that it is easy to sell bad systems that do not work.

To sum it up the way to get a great six pack is to lower you body fat percentage and to exercise. Obviously that is very simplistic but it is the core of what you need to do.

So the first part of this is lowering your body fat. This is essential because if you have a high body fat level then nobody will ever get to see any strong abdominal muscles because it will be covered by a layer of fat around the belly.

To lower your body fat you need to eat well. And when I say well, I mean the right kinds of foods and limit consumption so you are not ingesting an excessive amount of calories.

Cut out all the sugary foods and junk food and limit alcohol levels. I would not recommend completely ending all treats unless you think you can handle it. Some people do this and then give up very quickly. Letting yourself have a treat occasionally gives you that extra motivation.

As for exercise then you should do intense workouts instead of slow and boring cardio work. Make the sessions less than an hour and perhaps even 20 minutes or so. If they are intense then you will strip away the fat fairly quickly. Team sports like basketball or football are great for this too.

You can also work out with weights but make sure you give yourself a routine that works out the whole body. It won’t be about body building but about giving an intense workout that will strengthen and tone your physique.

So this is a broad outline of a workout I would recommend.

If you want to develop six packs abs fast then you need to follow a few simple steps that will change your routine. No more long & boring cardio and thousands of crunches. It really is not needed.

Six pack abs are extremely desirable but unfortunately most people go about trying to get them the wrong way and lose valuable time. If you are fully committed in your quest to develop six pack abs then it is entirely possible and in much shorter time than you may have been led to believe. Read through this article and ask yourself if you are following all the recommendations. It may be that you just need to make a few alterations to see all the difference.

It should be said that if you are very overweight it will take longer for the work to show through as you will likely have a layer of fat covering any muscle you have. This should not stand in your way though as you can work on weight loss and building abs at the same time.

If you have been doing cardiovascular work for a while and it seems to never stop then you may be pleased to know that it is not necessary. Instead of hours spent jogging or cycling at a moderate pace you should see a much greater benefit from changing the pace of the workout. If you like to run then you should start at a steady pace before sprinting for 30 seconds or so before slowing to a gentle stroll. Doing this interval training style will be far more beneficial.

This kind of workout is successful because of the intensity which stops your body getting used to the same thing. It also means you are not burning all of the muscle you have worked on which happens with the slow and steady cardio workout.

An added benefit is that it is far less boring so you stand a much greater chance of sticking with it even when things get tough or you are bored of the routine. The variety you find in interval training is far less tedious as you are continually changing things up.

When it comes to actually working on the abdominal muscles you may think quantity is best. But in fact you can do much more with quality. Instead of performing thousands of crunches you can focus on making the exercise intense by holding the muscle for 2 seconds before you lower your body. You will feel this working much quicker than a less structured movement.

This should give you an idea of how making some simple changes can have a great impact and actually make the workout more enjoyable at the same time. Often you need to be smart instead of following the herd and you will get the results you want.

You can get a complete guide on the subject that goes into the exercises and diet needed for killer abs:

After a heavy workout session it is important that you choose a healthy meal for your recovery time. There are many trainers who believe your intake upon finishing your training session is the most vital of the day. There are reasons for this which back up the idea and can help you tremendously.

After training for a period of time you move into a catabolic state with muscle glycogen reduced and cortisol increased. The cortisol can lead to more muscle being broken down than you would want and negating the work you have put into training.

If you can consume something that will reverse this effect quickly you can send nutrients to your muscles and benefit from it. Possibly the simplest way to do this is to drink a shake that you have prepared beforehand. These are fast acting and quickly digestible.

In regards to calories and contents of the shake then it will vary depending on your size, but ideally you will want to have somewhere in the region of three hundred to five hundred calories and carbs to protein ration of about two to one.

You will have probably seen many adverts for shakes that will benefit you in the way previously described. There are many companies making these shakes pre-prepared and ready for you. It is your choice as to whether you want to buy these or make them yourself, but you should be aware that some can be of very low quality. It is really not that hard to make a good post-workout shake yourself so you could definitely do it yourself.

So here’s a good example of a shake that will do you good following your intense workout session.

You will need a cup of water, half a cup of skimmed milk, thirty grams of whey protein powder (in this example we would use chocolate but you can amend this to your personal taste), one and a half frozen bananas and two tablespoons of maple syrup. The next step is to blend these together and you have a delicious shake.

One final word of warning. You will not want to have these at other times during the idea as the sugar will not be beneficial. Immediately after your workout the sugar will go to your muscles, but at others times of the day you will be paying for it as it goes to your belly instead.

If you visit a gym regularly then you will probably have seen a familiar routine. Large groups of people training on the running machine or exercise bike all trudging along at the same slow pace for seemingly endless amounts of time. It puts a lot of people off training for life when they think that is what you have to do. And the worst thing of all is that it doesn’t seem to really make a difference.

>>> Truth About Six Pack Abs

It’s not just from experiences at the gym either. Often personal trainers, friends who workout and qualified people will espouse the benefits of steady cardio work for between half an hour to an hour a few times a week.

But before you follow along and get into the same unrelenting regime as most other trainers out there you should think about some things. There are very few occasions where constant paced endurance cardio is required. Most sports are based on a stop-start system where you push yourself hard for a short amount of time before slowing the pace hugely.

Running marathons would be an exception to this but I’m sure you did not get into physical exercise to build the physique of a long distance runner. Surely a sprinter is more the body you are going for.

If you do long periods of cardiovascular work at the same pace there is also research to show that it can have a poor effect on your joints, not to mention actually stripping away some of the muscle you have built up.

In contrast a much healthier and beneficial way of training is the variable training that encourages difference paces of exercise. It can be good for increasing muscle growth and definition while also improving residual metabolic rate. You will generally find it is more interesting than the slow slog of repetitive training leaving you more likely to persist with it.

You may be wondering the best way to incorporate this type of workout into your regime. It is actually quite easy. You will of course be doing this by playing many sports such as basketball, tennis and volleyball where you are required to change pace and intensity very frequently.

Another option is to use your equipment of choice, be it treadmill, exercise bike or just an open space to train. But instead you can vary the intensity for short burst, so you push hard for about 30 seconds before slowing down into recovery mode for a minute and then repeating.

Lifting weights is also perfect for this as you naturally have varying periods of intensity and recovery. Do not worry if you do not want to build bulk, it is possible to train with weights for the primary motivation of getting lean.

Try this type of workout and you should find it helps with weight loss, building muscle and also keeping you interested when the old boring workouts used to try your patience.

There is a desire from many men and women to have a flat and toned abdominal section and it is easy to see why. It is attractive to many people and shows the effort you have put in to stay in shape. The truth is that it is very difficult for most people to actually get six pack abs and there are a number of reasons for this.

Click here for Truth About Six Pack Abs Review

One of the most important reasons is that people have been told false information that gets spread around until people think it is a truth. Many people state that to get a six pack you should do sit ups or crunches every day and you will get great results. But the factor that is missed out is that nobody will ever get to see any muscle you have developed while it is covered by a layer of fat.

Diet is an absolute essential part of getting a flat and toned stomach and may be easier than you think. It may be necessary to make some changes to how you eat but you should see some quick results if you do so. One of the best ways to start is to alter the timings of your meals. Traditionally most people eat three main meals which take place at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Doing this makes you extremely likely to snack in between though which increases calories.

Also your body does not respond optimally to large meals being consumed infrequently. Far better is to eat 6 to 8 smaller meals regularly throughout the day. This may sound difficult but when you get into the routine it is not a problem and will leave you much less likely to want to snack in between.

As for the food you should be eating well it is say to say you will do much better if you cut down on any snack foods such as chocolate, chips and other junk food and eat lean chicken, vegetables and fruit. This is just a starter but consuming balanced meals is the key.

You cannot get away with no exercise at all either and you will have to put in some effort here. But it may not be as much as you may imagine. People often assume that it is essential to do thousands of crunches to see results but a consistent regime that sees you work up in reps is a better idea. If you have not exercised in a while you will want to start slow and not cause any damage. And also make sure to change up the exercises to target all areas of your abdominal muscles.

If you have ever tried to develop a solid six pack of washboard abs then you will understand how difficult it can be. Endless hours doing crunches and sit ups along with boring cardio work gets tiresome very quickly, particularly if you are not seeing any results. But it does not have to be this way if you work smarter not harder.

==>> Check Out This Complete Six Pack Workout

There are a few factors in building the abdominal muscles that many people miss. The first one is the importance of your diet. It may sound boring and not the kind of information you want to hear but it is the truth. If you have a poor diet then you will not see those abs coming through. You can have solid muscle hidden underneath that layer of fat but nobody will ever know.

So working on eating a healthy and balanced diet should be the first step. Try to cut out any foods that are not helping you such as sugary foods, pasta and any junk food. Aim to eat about 6 to 8 small meals each day instead of just a few large meals. This will help your metabolism and lead you down the right path. Also get into the habit of drinking 8 large glasses of water throughout the day.

So when you have planned your new diet it is time to move onto the exercise. There are a lot of arguments about the best types of exercises to build your abs quickly. Some people get great results from cardio and plenty of crunches while others do not approve of this. There are definitely many examples of people who do constant sit ups and jog miles each day but do not get the desirable body they want.

It may be wise instead to stick to moderate periods of crunches of 3 or 4 times per week and no longer than 10 minutes each time. This is more than enough to build up your stomach muscles alongside the correct diet.

As for cardio work there is also no need to spend hours each time doing this. Instead of slow and steady jogging or cycling try short periods of intense activity. Consider the physique of a sprinter over a marathon runner and you can see what I mean. You really do not want to be stripping muscle from your body, just fat so avoid the long cardio routines that some people preach.

Finally it is a good idea to include some regular weight lifting into your routine. Stick to the basics of squats, deadlifts and bench presses as your core routine and this will enable you to build muscle and burn off fat. Following this style of routine can help to build a strong core of abs and develop a great looking six pack. This is realy the truth about six pack abs.

John Alvino has put together a system for getting Ripped 6 Pack Abs & Burning Belly Fat Fast!

==>Go Here For The Details<==

============================================

For the best guide on getting abs fast check out Truth About Abs

===============================

The Truth About Six Pack Abs works by incorporating a full body workout and nutrition program.

There are many myths out there when it comes to building a set of washboard abs. Many people fall into the trap of doing ab specific exercises, which while they have some benefit, doesn’t address the best way to accomplish your goal. Part of the problem is wading through the mountains of information about the best way to expose those abdominal muscles and deciding which program to follow.

The first thing you need to understand to make an informed decision is how the human body works and this is where The Truth About Six Pack Abs excels. It is an abs program that uses some of the basic aspects of human exercise physiology to accomplish its goals.

One of the most misunderstood parts of any weight loss or fat reduction regimen is how the body uses and processes calories, the energy we get from the food we eat. Calories are not the enemy when it comes to any weight loss or fitness program, but the type of calories are. By eating nutrient rich foods you give your body the fuel it needs to run at an optimal level, which includes a raised metabolism that burns away excess fat. What you need are foods high in complex carbohydrates, fiber, lean protein, and vitamins and minerals.

The Truth About Six Pack Abs covers the nutritional aspect by showing what it takes to eat a healthy diet that taps into your own metabolic fat burning engine. By eating correctly you will not only begin to lose that hard to get rid of weight but your energy levels will increase and you will soon find yourself not craving all those diet busting snack foods during the day.

Probably the most surprising part of this program is the exercise portion. Most people assume that in order to get a set of rock hard abs you need to do hundreds if not thousands of sit-ups or crunches everyday. These types of exercises do have their place, but to truly succeed you need to look at your body as a whole. By increasing your overall lean muscle mass you turn your body into a calorie burning machine. This abs program focuses on full body training routines that maximize your metabolism as well as recruiting all the major muscle groups to give that lean firm look so many people want.

If you are tired of hiding your body under layers of clothes and want to seriously change the way you look and feel about yourself The Truth About Six Pack Abs is a program that will seriously change the way you look at attaining your fitness goals. By incorporating good nutrition and a complete workout program you’ll soon be wearing clothes that fit and flatter your new body.

CLICK HERE FOR THE QUICKEST AND EASIEST WAY TO GET SIX PACK ABS: Truth About Abs

No matter if you are a teen trying to get into shape or a grown woman returning to the world of fitness, a harder and flatter stomach is the final goal for many a person. Because of this, this topic is covered in plenty of fitness myths and is especially susceptible to fancy machines and ideas that claim to give a rock hard 6-pack in weeks, yet do absolutely nothing. This article does not claim to give "rock hard abs" in a week, but instead serves to try to change the views some people have gotten from watching too many infomercials at 2AM.

1. You Can’t Spot-Reduce

This means that you can’t burn fat only from a specific spot on your body. All the sit-ups in the world will not burn the fat on your gut. Bodyfat is lost from all over your body and is caused by a caloric deficit, not from activating a certain muscle group.

2. Cardio is Important

The key to getting a 6-pack is not in building up the abdominals, but in burning the fat that is covering them. The way to achieve this is is to have a caloric deficit, which can be achieved by both taking in less calories and using up more calories. A form of cardio that is very effective for burning fat and boosting your metabolism is HIIT. HIIT is exercising in short bursts of intense cardio followed by a short cooldown. An example of a session would be a 30 second run, followed by a 30 second jog, followed by another sprint, and so on for 4 to 15 minutes depending on the fitness of person.

3. Abs are made in the kitchen

This is the least complex and yet the most difficult aspect in getting a 6-pack. The key to getting a 6-pack is to cut down on food and lose bodyfat. Here are some easily applicable tips:

     * Stop drinking soda and start to drink only water. It can make a huge difference.

     * Eat 5-6 small meals a day. This helps boost your metabolism and keeps your appetite in check.

     * Try to find your calorie maintenance level and gradually decrease 100-200 calories per week until your are shedding about 1-2 pounds a week.

4. Sit-ups are useless

Sit-ups are supposed to target the abs but really the hip flexors and spinal erectors are doing the work in the movement. The abdominals are only used isometrically as stabilizers. This means that sit-ups are terrible for your back and do not benefit your abs anyway.

5. Other Exercises To Do

Now this would be the time for me to plug some new life-changing product or idea, but that is not the point of this article. Here are some ab exercises for beginners to do instead of the traditional sit-up:

     * Crunches – There are many different types, but try to think of it as pulling your bottom rib directly to your hip

     * Weighted crunches – Do normal crunches except hold a plate to your chest

     * Hanging leg raises – hang from a bar and pull your knees directly to your chest

6. Don’t Give Up!

While achieving your goal of a 6-pack may not be as painless and easy as infomercials may have you think, it is still a very realistic goal even for a beginner. All it takes hard work and determination. Giving up a week after you started will not help you get a six pack or help your your overall fitness.

If you are looking for the best abs workout take a look at this article which shows four great methods for getting a toned stomach.

For the best abs workout routines and the fastest way to get a six pack take a look at my review of Truth About Abs.

The weather is warming up, and for many people, that means it is time to work on that little bulge that has been taking up residence around the midsection since Thanksgiving. These several exercises can help you shed that excess turkey weight and flatten out that stomach in time for beach season. As with any workout routine, be sure to consult a professional before beginning and always warm up properly to avoid injury.

Plank
For this stomach exercise, you will need to lie on a flat surface, such as the floor. You will be lying in your stomach, so you may want to use a mat or towel to cushion your knees. Prop your upper body up on your forearms so that your elbows make a ninety degree angle and are positioned directly below your shoulders. Now lift your body up off the floor so that your lower body is supported by your toes, while your upper body remains supported by your elbows. Your body should basically be a straight line, with no arch or drooping through your back. Hold this position for twenty seconds, then lower your body back to the floor. One repetition is sufficient.

Side Plank
This stomach exercise is a variation on the previous one, and begins in the same starting position. Once you are positioned properly, roll to your right side, keeping your torso supported with your right forearm. You will have to raise your hips and roll your feet so that your left foot is on top of your right. As in the plank, your body will be a straight line, but this time you will be on one side. Place your left hand on your hip and hold the plank position for five seconds. Return to start and repeat on the left side.

Ball Roll
If you just quickly glanced at the title, you may have gone to find a ball before reading on. If you did, you can go put it away, because in this stomach exercise, you are the ball! First, sit on the floor and hug your knees to your chest. Roll back slightly so you are balancing on your tail bone and your feet are off the floor, toes pointing downward. Pull your abdominals inward while rolling onto your lower back and the upper part of your butt. Contract your abdominals and pull yourself back to the starting position. Loosening your arms up may help if you find this exercise too difficult at first.

Standing Crossover
As the name implies, you will need to stand up for this stomach exercise. Position your feet a few inches apart. Put your arms out to the sides and bend your elbows at a ninety degree angle so your fingertips are pointing to the ceiling and your palm are facing forward. Contract your abdominals and lift your right knee toward your left elbow, while at the same time bringing your left elbow down toward your right knee. Touch the two joints together, pause, then return to start. Switch sides and repeat for an entire set.

The best abs workout will always include variety so make sure you do not just follow the typical crunch routine and change it up regularly. The truth about six pack abs will give you all the information you need to succeed.

Yeah, I fell into a couple of them and ended up wasting some money only to find that their ebook was just filled with the same old (fill in the blank) and no results. But alas, I was still out in search of my six pack abs and I came upon yet another ebook called The Truth About Six Pack Abs, how true is it?

I figured I could spend a little bit more, this was the last try. I was already in a negative state of mind, thinking this would just be another typical ebook promising the world and giving me nothing, but wait, I was so wrong. Yes, I was wrong!

Alright the first and best thing about The Truth About Six Pack Abs is that they don’t go around talking mumbo-jumbo, they take you right to the point, what you want to know, which is of course how to get a six pack! Not only that but it actually tells you how to really shed off the fat and keep it off. With pills you have to be buying them monthly, but in this ebook Mr. Geary teaches how an average Joe can lose weight, keep in shape and stay that way!

Once you get this ebook, you’ll be reading through it more than once, because every page in the ebook is packed with information on helping you reach your six pack goal, teaching you the true facts and methods of getting the flat abs you’ve wanted for so long.

Best of all it doesn’t bore you with things you already know, it goes straight to the facts and things you need to know to start losing weight now. Mike Geary doesn’t go along with the typical routines and hype like other weight loss ebooks, what his ebook contains really stands out from the rest, and you will realize this especially if you’ve already read other weight loss ebooks.

This ebook is for everyone and anyone, man, woman, teenager, all you need to have is fat to loose and a desire of a six pack. But before I finish my personal review, check out another great feature of this ebook, it has a Guarantee. Yup, that means the author, Mike, is so sure that his ebook will work that if it doesn’t you can get your money back. This alone is a sure sign that it will work.

I could go on, but why waste time talking about it when you can try it for yourself? The Truth About Six Pack Abs has remained one of the top online abs ebook in the whole history Internet.
